“ .NET 7 将于 2024 年 5 月 14 日停止支持 ”
微软发布公告称，.NET 7 将于2024 年 5 月 14 日终止支持。此后，该公司将不再为 .NET 7 提供服务更新，包括安全修复或技术支持。
.NET 7 是一个 STS 版本，支持期为 18 个月。5 月 14 日刚好是微软的周二补丁日。因此如果 .NET 7 存在已知的严重问题，可能会在当天进行最后一次更新。官方建议用户在截至日期之前更新到 2023 年 11 月发布的 .NET 8 以获取更多支持。
微软方面强调，使用 .NET 7 的应用程序将在支持结束后继续运行，但用户可能无法获得 .NET 7 应用程序的技术支持。他们不会继续为 .NET 7 发布新的安全更新，用户可能会面临安全漏洞问题。
对于 Visual Studio，从 Visual Studio 2022 17.6 和 Visual Studio 2022 17.5 的 2024 年 6 月服务更新开始，IDE 中的 .NET 组件将更改为不再支持且可选。现有安装不会受到影响。
开发人员必须使用 .NET 8 SDK 构建 .NET 6 或 .NET 8 组件才能保持支持。可以使用 “remove out of support components”组件选项从现有 Visual Studio 安装中删除 .NET 7。
与 .NET 7 不同， 2021 年 11 月发布的 .NET 6 属于 LTS 版本，支持到今年 11 月。
